Ohh, I didnt knew they do price match against another brand! I will try at my local Bunnings!
I thought it meant "Bunnings are dropping their prices of similar items to be competitive" rather than actually price matching.
Battery would be better if committing crimes with it.
Any bargains on portable battery banks that can power this angle grinder??
Portable batteries that can power a 1200W device aren’t going to be easy to find or particularly cheap..
If you could string 8 of the Ryobi inverters together..
Nah. Just use a extension cable. People would think your legit. As no criminal would be that dumb
Extension cable and high vis vest, put some cones down and you're basically unstoppable.
Hide yo kids hide yo wife hide yo catalytic converter
Guys I cut into this Tesla and the sparks didn't stop when I stopped cutting what is hap
Thanks OP
Can this be used to cut thick wood frames, and metals? By the description it sounds like it is only to remove rust and surface imperfection rather than cutting itself?
With metal cutting discs, you can cut metal just fine. For anything really heavy duty you might need a proper table saw I think.
Ah right. So this is more for cutting metal and tiles etc? Given you have the right blade
You want to cut wood… with a grinder?
Well it is possible, but you'd have to buy one of those dodgy attachments
I think im getting confused between a circular saw and angle grinder. Circular saw is for wood right?
Angle grinder doesn't have teeth on the blade, it grinds away material through abrasion. Circular saw mostly used for wood but can cut other materials depending on the blade and speed (thin metals generally fine)
Yes. A saw removes material by shaving it away, while a grinder removes material through intense friction.
The main purpose of this item is for cutting metals, or grinding away rust (with either a grinding disk or something like a wire wheel). I have used this exact model to cut a car in half
@outlander: Makes sense. What disc will be suited to cut metal with this grinder? Assume the 3 disc that it comes with wont do the job of cutting metal
@bargin424: Yes, the included discs are just for grinding. You can get 125mm Metal Cut Off Discs for few bucks form Bunnings.
For $30 it's an easy buy
I already have one it is fantastic value plenty of power and well built.
