Roborock S8 Pro Ultra Vs Revo Maxv

Hey just trying to decide between the following:

Roborock s8 Pro ultra vs Roborock Revo MaxV

Prices are similar at the moment around $1600 or so.

We mainly have tiles downstairs where the robot will predominantly run.

We have no pets but have 2.5 yr old that brings the sand out home and spills stuff everywhere.

I’m leaning towards the MaxV revo for the hot mopping

The thing I found out about robotic vacuum cleaners is that they really need a house free of clutter.

I found with small kids this hard to achieve. As a result my first robotic vacuum cleaner was not used often enough before its rechargable batteries died.

  I genuinely thought the same but my parents have a Roborock s7 plus and it works a dream. My daughter is there 3 days a week and its cleans pretty well. We don’t have much clutter around and my husband is a bit ocd and her toys aren’t allowed outside her toy room. I think she’s a bit ocd too - she looses her marbles and wants to vacuum if she drops crumbs on the floor.

Was in a similar position as yourself with trying to choose which robovac to get and we just got the Qrevo MaxV for our downstairs, which is tiled. Does a great job and no complaints.
