I'm all for physical media, but man, DVD should have been phased out at least 5-10 years ago and made way for Blu-ray as the standard.
The fact it still surprises people that blu rays have scratch resistance is kinda crazy. Even some of my friends who pirate all their movies thought I was lying when I said most blu-rays (and high quality transfers) are up to 50gb. That's not even touching the 4k format.
Long story short: 576i, 8gb discs are a hard sell.
