The fuel cap cover for my Mini Cooper S has been stolen, see photo Does anyone know where can I find a cheap non-original replacement? I googled around but couldn’t seem to find anything similar in shape. Would really appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you.

Ice cream container lid cut to shape plus double sided tape.
Then wrapped in aluminium foil and then clear sticky tape to protect from weather.

According to the description, it simply sticks on to the existing cap. OK it’s not a sticker in the normal sense😀 Without the original cap, I wonder if it’ll stick well on to the plastic frame or just falls off after a few days.

If it is just a cover(with a sticker) for the cap (which was pinched) then all you need to do is buy the cover and make a replacement "cap". You just need some material/plastic . As the aliexpress cover will cover what ever you use.
So i'd assume ,like most fuel cap lid/doors that it was ~2 or 3 mm think.
Grab some perspex(go to an op shop and buy a chopping board or plastic plate) and cut to rough shape and epoxy glue that to the black hinge thing. And then cover the cut perspex with with the aliexpress cover&sticker.

Give rare spares (Victoria) a call , not sure if they’re elsewhere . At worst they might point you in the right direction.
Have you tried anything? Ringing a Mini wrecker? Fartbook for people parting out Minis? A dealer? Google? Scumtree? Fleabay? Walking along the street and pinching someone else's?
