Note: Try at your own risk. I'm putting together some deals I've seen on the Internet. I'm not responsible for additional costs incurred.

  1. Register account at HopShopGo (linked to Paypal account): http://www.hopshopgo.com/hopshopgo/track/PPHOL2012/

  2. Order SSD from Amazon and ship to HopShopGo's USA address for your account: http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-Technology-2-5-Inch-Industrys-Warr…

  3. Checkout with Amazon Prime trial membership for free 2-day shipping to HopShopGo USA address. Enable payment currency in AUD.

  4. Important: Disable Amazon Prime membership charges in Account Settings, Manage Prime Membership, Disable Automatic Upgrade to avoid paying $78 for annual Prime membership after trial period. I think they will do a USD$1 charge on the credit card to verify authenticity and charge back later for Amazon Prime membership.

  5. After package arrives at HopShopGo address, use promo code PPLNOV10 for first kg of International shipping. Amazon product details lists it as Shipping Weight: 7.8 ounces which is about 221.126 grams, well under the first 1kg free shipping limit. Mod: This doesn't apply for Australian users.     probably worth noting that there are rumors that ocz are going bust and parties that were interested in buying them out have lost interest.

    If OCZ goes bankrupt, then what happens to the warranty — might want to consider that if you plan on going OCZ.

      I'd be doubtful that they'll wind up completely, they've got a pretty well established infrastructure…I reckon someone will swoop in at the 11th hour & snap them up for a song! ;)

    Apparently OCZ have become a dodgy company, and the Vertex 4 series are not worthwhile investments.

    Look to Intel or Samsung at the moment.
