Low Profile Good Mattress with Thickness Less than 13cm

I need something flexible and the IKEA UTÅKER seems like a good fit.
However, for it to be stackable, the maximum mattress height must be 13cm. The only pocket spring mattress from IKEA that fits the requirement is VANNAREID and it looks like a bad value for it's price. So I am thinking to either:
1. Find a good latex mattress with 10cm to 13cm thickness
2. Find the best value for money pocket spring mattress with less than 13cm thickness, and top it up with a latex topper such as https://peacelily.com.au/products/mattress-topper?variant=20…

I found that both options are very hard to find just using google. Can anyone here help me finding either option 1 or 2?
Or perhaps does anyone knows other beds similar to UTÅKER that allows thicker mattress?

  • Your main issue is the stackable bed frame and IKEA mattress probably especially design for it.

Maybe try a bunk bed mattres, dont think they comes in low profile either. Good luck.

  • +1

You could replace the legs if you are handy

    • Thanks, that's a good idea! That could be my last resort then.

  • There's a clear gap between the mattress and the bed above, so should fit something thicker (like this - https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/abygda-foam-mattress-firm-white… )

  • u can try this brand if for a kid
    https://www.ecosa.com.au/ecosa-kids-mattress

    its 13cm
we have this for my son on the top bunk

    • Thanks, but that's not quite cheap. Can an adult sleep on it comfortably too?
