Shark Ninja / Ninja Kitchen support

Has anyone dealt with Shark ninja / Ninja Kitchen support before?

I ordered and received a Ninja air fryer from them that arrived with damage. A subsequent order hasn't been delivered (thanks to DHL claiming attempted deliveries). I went to contact them but found the following:

  • Their ABN has been cancelled since last year
  • The only phone number I've found is for a distribution company called Mann & Noble who say they have no longer have a relationship with Shark Ninja (since May 2024).
  • The chat is a bot only (despite listing 7am-7pm Sydney hours)
  • I found on my order email a customer service address, which replying to raised a ticket but with no response after several days.
  • I went to register warranty with hopes there would be alternative way of contacting but it requires a serial number the appliance doesn't have.

I wish I'd found this prior. I'm guessing my only option is to issue a charge back…

Tried asking the chatbot to talk to a real person?

Might be worth going the chargeback route. At the very least it should get their attention (or if they ignore it, you get your money back).

https://ninjakitchen.com.au/pages/statement - this sounds like everything is stuffed at the moment though.

Yea that page is where I found the phone number that led me to Mann & Noble.

I tried a few times with the chatbot :P

    • I've also hit up this email Mann & Noble posted on their google business listing:

The Mann&Noble Group is no longer affiliated with Shark Ninja Products. If you have a query relating to Shark Ninja please direct it to [email protected]

      • "speak to someone please…"

  • That's not good to hear. I have a Shark cordless vacuum which is quite good (bought it years ago). It seems like they may have pulled out of the Australian market potentially (as they're a US company) though their products still seem to be selling through a lot of Australian retailers.

I contacted SharkNinja last week on 0288017666 and received warranty replacement yesterday. Try this number(02 8801 7666) tomorrow and see how you go.

    • Interesting as that's the number for Mann & Noble who say they don't have any involvement with shark ninja as of May 2024. I'll try again tomorrow.

Well, It worked for me last week. You can try to send an email to [email protected] as they communication to me via this email address.

        • Thanks. Emailed that address a few hours ago so will see!

  • my only option is to issue a charge backā€¦

    ASAP

  • Hmm just bought a Ninja Creami Deluxe due to the ShopBack 40%… Hope that doesn't come back to bite me

  • I emailed Ninja Australia for a warranty claim. They were slow to respond and doubled up asking for some of the information. But once my warranty was approved they shipped an item to me with next day delivery.

They are using an offshore company for their warranty claims, which is why I suspect there was a delay.
