The Voucher is not transferable.

Voucher expiry. The Voucher is valid from the date of issue and will expire 30 days from the date of issue (“Validity Period”).

all good and well but dont be like me and forget about the 30 day expiry

    • Thanks for the reminder! Had $30 sitting there from last year.
      Scratch that, $60!

Appears to replace [eBay Plus] $30 eBay Gift Card Member Retention Offer (Regular Renewal Cost $49) @ eBay, though a voucher is worse than a GC.

Go to this page to cancel your membership.

Can confirm works, did it earlier. As JW said, 30 day expiry and issued 14 days after renewal.

Thank You for Choosing eBay Plus - $30 eBay Voucher

Voucher delivered 14 days after membership payment. Expires 30 days from issue. T&Cs apply

Any deal for new sign ups

  • any final value fee deal?

  • +2

Honestly, not much of a deal I can find on eBay Plus these days apart from the end of financial year seller $0 fees. Gone those days where they have eBay plus sales, $99 AirPods?

  • Thanks OP! Worked for me…

  • I just paid my membership for next 12 months today. Hope I will be eligible for this offer

    • Go ahead and try to cancel and see what happens. Even if you cancel today it will still be valid for the 12 months.

  • I find myself using ebay very less nowadays.
I buy a lot from Amazon though.
However those items which I do buy from Ebay cost double on Amazon.

    • I only buy jayo 3d filament from ebay now lol
Plus Amazon is so much more convenient

      • I've not had a delivery arrive in under two weeks from Amazon.

Not very convenient for us rural folk unfortunately

  • +3

I don't think I'll renew my eBay Plus unless it's free I get such little value out of it these days.

    • Same. I've only purchased 2 items since my last renewal.

Either use Amazon or AliExpress, or visit a brick and mortar.

  • My membership renews in 4 days … perfect thankyou

  • +1

with no final value fee discounts and $5 voucher min spend increased to $35, plus became truly worthless for me this year. Will only sign up if its free

  • Thanks OP.

  • Should the offer come up straight away or do you need to click through to "Cancel anyway" on the first "… are you sure you want to end your eBay Plus membership?" pop-up?

    • Cancel anyway > select your reason, next > offer pops up.

  • They refused to give me mine, despite being offered it and taking a screenshot of my person offer that was accepted prior to signing up.

  • I thought I saw a $50 version of this deal, posted late last year here…
    My bad, expired and different.

    • This can be seen as the regular ongoing promo, they occasionally do better ones.

  • +1

Keep screenshots and records of when you canceled and were offered the retention deal. They didn't honor it for me and I couldn't prove when I had taken up the offer..the date is critical.

  • I am not sure how this will work and when will I get promo code for $30. So current membership finishes end of Aug. As soon as I accepted offer message came that I should get voucher by 14/08/24. That is before my current membership ends, so does that mean i can use that voucher and still cancel my membership at end of august.

  • Thanks, I nearly forgot to do this before it renewed 👍

  • Can confirm. I cancelled my eBay Plus 2 days ago. I was offered $30 eBay voucher but I declined. I couldn't find any value on eBay Plus anymore.

  • Cancelled mine recently like a lot of you.. the value isn't there any more.

  • I've been with eBay plus for nearly a year and only benefited from being a member once. Lol, Amazon on the other hand…

  • Is there some sort of confirmation email once we accept the offer?

  • Did this and cancelled but no offer………suggest it is targeted
Edit membership > Cancel membership > Cancel anyway > Select reason, next > Keep my benefits and receive a $30 voucher

  • +2

After they took out $5 off $15, eBay plus is just worthless now.

  • The correct way to make the most out of this offer is:

Edit membership > Cancel membership > Cancel anyway > Select Reason > Cancel anyway

Plus use to be ok, then they watered it down again and again.

  • I don’t understand when am I supposed to get the voucher, my membership expires in 10 months and I paid a couple of months ago so the voucher should be already here???
