Aldi - Bauhn True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds

Bauhn is an Australian-based electronics manufacturer. According to its website, they make and distribute “Televisions, Tablet PCs, Blu-Ray Players, Digital Set Top Boxes and Home Theatre Entertainment Systems. However in the states Aldi US is selling $US9.99 earbuds that are so similar to JBL Vibe Beam and AirPods Pro (2nd gen) which I dont believe has been made available in Australia.

They appear to have a sleek, modern design with a small rectangle case that’s longer horizontally. The earbuds are smaller with a silicone piece to better fit your ear. Not only do they look like earbuds from popular tech brands, but their features are similar as well. According to the specs it uses Bluetooth V5.3 and can hold a “stable connection” up to 10 metres from the connected device. It has an auto-pairing function and can play seven hours of “uninterrupted listening” if it’s fully charged. Aldi’s site said that it is “IPX5 water resistant” and has wireless charging capabilities.

Bauhn is an Australian-based electronics manufacturer.

Aren't they just an Aldi brand?

They look like your run of the mill TWS earbuds. They have found a OEM product and slapped their branding on it.

Chances are you could find something similar on AliExpress or from one of the more budget oriented brands.

  • Bauhn isn't a real brand.

But surely the brand has some kind of identity, I think you would call it the Bauhn Identity.

      • that are so similar to JBL Vibe Beam and AirPods Pro (2nd gen)

If they're that close already, it's only a matter of time before Bauhn supremacy

Bauhn is an Australian-based electronics manufacturer.

    Where is their factory?

    • Made In China. Distributed and private labelled/branded as Bauhn for Aldi by https://tempo.org/our-business/ and sold by Aldi. Stirling brand another one.

      • So they are not an 'Australian-based electronics manufacturer.'

        • No. They are not manufacturers at all. Aldi's Australian nylon companies which sell generic no-name Chinese products under copyrighted brand names. See 'ALDI' at the bottom of www.bauhn.com.au and www.stirling.com.au

  • Mine lasted ages, I can’t remember what I paid, maybe $40 in 2018?

I replaced the tips with comply foam and they sounded much bassier but didn’t quite fit in the charging case
