How far back are you sitting from your TV that it provides a benefit? Most people wouldn't even get an 8K TV that large if possible.

My home theatre is quite big, that is why I'm looking for bigger screen.
I think it is still live on edu/EPP. Do you have access to either? My 98" TV is sitting proudly wall mount 3.2 mtrs away and it is good viewing distance

Exactly this. Samsung products are overly inflated in price on release. If you don't have portal access, always wait for a sale.

Pretty sure there's already been bundle deals taking this to about $2500… that's about the starting point for deals on a 65" OLED of this calibre. The 65" S90C eventually hit about $1700 on clearance.
