  I don’t downvote often, however Section 1.2.7—8 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code – Standard 1.2.7 says that food (e.g. tea) must not claim to “refer to the prevention, diagnosis, cure or alleviation of a disease, disorder or condition”.

  Which is what these product descriptions do. Over and over again. “Immune system boost”, “rich in antioxidants for glowing skin and cellular health”, “balances hormones, lowers bad cholesterol, and keeps blood pressure healthy”.

  This tea is going to make my cells healthy? What the actual (profanity).

  There are laws about snake oil in this country.
