Hi, wife has gotten into baking recently, was looking between this and a kitchenaid artisan.

Lucky me, got this emailed to me from Amazon.de, but have already bought a sunbeam mx9200 instead. Also in the most popular colour - RED!

This is 500W over kitchenaid's 300W, and like kitchenaids also has the accessories that can be plugged into the top of it. FYI I find that most people compare kenwoods to kitchenaids, in terms of stand mixers.

Best price I found online in AU was AUD570 from eljo.com.au…

  I got one of these about 6 months ago from amazon.de for about $340 delivered. Even at the price in this post I would highly recommended it. It looks good, has plenty of power and has as many external attachments the Kitchen Aid.

    Hey mate, does it just come with a Euro plug and you use an adapter to convert to Australian socket?

      yeah pretty sure it does. generally electrical items from euros are good for aussie household unlike USA's item where you need a converter. just buy a travel adapter from ebay will do the trick !

  Anyone know where i can get a kitchenaid one from o/s my misses wants a kitchenaid but I refuse to pay the $700 plus for a mixer

    Cheapest in AU is around $640 delivered I think. The HomewaresDirect at my HarbourTown has refurbs for aroundthe $550 mark. No way around it, amazon.de, it, co.uk all have it at around $600 delivered, but I'd rather go local for a few dollars more in case of warranty. Still, compared the USA pricing the kitchenaid is seriously overpriced.

  Can't vouch for the kmix mixers but as an owner of the Kenwood KMM770 (1200W!!!), I'm very happy with what it can do. It was still cheaper than a kitchenaid.
