We have ditched QF for domestic flights where possible. Rex is excellent and now flies across major cities. Not to mention Rex flights Sydney - Brisbane costing $260 in the first week of Oct whilst Qantas is going for $500.
Business fare is out of this world too. Used to fly Sydney-Brisbane/Melbourne for $800.
i love how Qantas will cancel the last flight of the night and say "come back tomorrow for the first flight, and you chose another flight, but need to pay any fare difference & of course you need to pay for your own accommodation & transportation" even though that OW flight was $450

Glad you’re supporting Rex. I fly regularly for work (short haul domestic), and it’s almost always Virgin. But I’d go Rex any day if they had any peak time slots. They fly out of Canberra at like 1pm. I avoid Qantas. I find Qantas tend to cancel flights regularly to put people on the next flight if they’re not full. Good for business and the environment (which is important to me) but bad for customers having to wait another hour or two at the airport.

Bad experience starts at the lounge on the way out.

These rates are nothing special for domestic flights, you can easily get better pricing than this elsewhere. No deal.
Yeah I looked and it was $650ish one way too Nadi Fiji. It’s return that price usually.
No deal these prices are more expensive than the normal prices typical Qantas sale .
Probably ghost flights.

Round trip BNE to MEL is like $247 on Jetstar. I guess if you like the airport experience Qantas is great

Been looking at Rex based on recommendations here, I have never flown with them before. Having to identify motorbikes and traffic lights (up to 3 pages of) for every search is ridiculous.
Haha, yes, I've given up on the Rex website many times because of the multiple pages of clicking correct pictures. Just bizarre for an airline site.
