Likely Google Pixel 8 Trade-in Value?

I'm wondering what sort of trade-in price the Pixel 8 would get when buying the Pixel 9, based on past trade-in prices. Any suggestions?

Sooo many variables.

Also - possiblity of been locked into a contract for 3 years (eg. Current Telstra trade-in deals for the pixel 8).

Prob best to hold out for optus deals that seem to happen with every pixel phone release (or even OW).

$450-550 excluding bonuses.
MM is offering $580 "as new" as at now but I foresee a drop when P9 drops next month.
For further context I traded in a P7 with Google recently and got $450.
