I think Energy Australia is gaming the energy compare website.
Im being swamped with E.A. quotes on the solar max plan because the feed in tariff is a generous 12c for the first 15kwh of the day but it excludes discounts. they also include a whopping $830 estimate of solar rebates, which i assume is the kwh rate maxed out but certainly not likely over winter months. Chatting to them online they suggest I'm actually better off with flexi rate that includes discounts yet the rates are just ok-ish compared to market average.
