Hi
TLDR: which furniture oil is closest match to factory colour.
I purchased the mimosa malibu outdoor corner lounge and daybed from Bunnings. This seems like quite a popular item on ozbargain in the past and I'm hoping to get some furniture oil recommendations and experiences from people who own the same outdoor furniture.
The furniture will be sitting on our new pine deck (which I will stain with Cutek CD50X when summer comes, colourtone undecided but probably a golden yellow or pale white wash). It is under a covered partially enclosed pergola, so will never get wet apart from some mild morning dew and is not under direct sunlight (UV tinted roof).
I've already given the daybed a light sand in preparation of oiling. The included instructions state to use Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture penetrating oil, but don't specify the colour. Available colours are clear/satin/gloss/teak/jarah.
I want to maintain the factory colour by using penetrating oil and don't want the timber going grey overtime. I've reached out to both Feast Watson and Bunnings on their websites for advice. The timber looks like jarah colour I think when I viewed the website, although in the photos online it looks more like a teak colour. I think I prefer the teak colour, but as the furniture will retain some of the existing colour I prefer to use the closest colour match so I don't get variation in colour between the two different colour tones.

Does anyone own this furniture and what oil did you use and what was the experience, and how did the oil effect the colour?
Thanks
Mike
Just use a furniture oil with the lightest/ no tint?
