$4 cheaper doesn't deserve a neg especially if you're paying for postage. I'd still get it at Amazon. Suggest you retract it.

Suggest you retract your user name ;) LOL

        • +3

Wow you're not going to have a very good week if you're like this on a Monday morning :)

      • +5

It kind of does though? Isn't that the whole point of Ozbargain? To "facilitate" price competition one dollar at a time?

        • +2

And Amazon is still cheaper if you're paying $6 for delivery. The clever cat above didn't check that though.

          • -6

@The Almighty Dollar: Clever cat did check - it's still cheaper outright at Bing Lee for many. Issue is you telling others how they should use their neg votes when the rules are clear. This is Oz BARGAIN. It's hardly the bargain post if I can google a cheaper price in ten seconds to help others. You don't have to like other peoples posts but when they're following the rules why not just move on?

It may not deserve a neg but he has the right to according to the voting guidelines:

        Appropriate uses of negative vote

        • Cheaper price elsewhere
        • Ideally, mention store, URL and price include shipping (if applicable).

One could argue it's not cheaper when shipping is included, but as Bing Lee has physical stores, he gets off on a legal loophole that allows this flagrant use of a negative vote

I've seen negs given for $0.04! Still cheaper, so i spose your comment about retracting the vote is not valid. Somebody could qualify for free shipping when adding something else to the order.
That $4 can buy some hot water for a coffee.

      $6 delivery for me.

I avoid Bing Lee at all costs after ordering something that was marked as in stock, was eBay Plus so should have been delivered within a few days, but didn’t ship for ages and they didn’t notify me until I asked where my order was. I don’t care if you’re an Australian business, customer service like that doesn’t deserve to stay in business.

Cheapest would be use the Bing Lee $249, price beat at Officeworks for $236.55.

    • Officeworks wouldn't price match Bing Lee with me yesterday, but they did match Amazon.

Not buying but loving the SSD price drops.
