Samsonite lite-shock and Fire lite were the lightest, but I am not sure if they make them anymore.
Light shock seems to be available, 1.7kg.
American Tourister Airconic is 2kg and is probably the benchmark @ $115-135.

I rate this suitcase had one for like 10 years thats copped endless abuse, many hours of cobblestones in europe and thrown around during covid when all the other suitcases were coming out of the conveyor belt crushed or shattered
I am sure they are tough, but I have never had a one of the super lightweight Samsonite lite-shock and Fire-lite cases fail on many dozens of trips, and they weigh half as much. The large OC2LITE is nearly 5kg, which is VERY heavy.

Note: Oc2Lite is DEFINITELY not light at 2.6kg! There is 37% of your carry on allowance gone before you put a single item in there. Many of the better carry on cases are under 2kg, the best are 1.7-1.8kg.
