Do keep in mind the digital version is cheaper on the eShop and a lot cheaper during sales.
But for the physical collector, it comes with: All 4 DLC, Printed Manual, Hollownest Map and Reversible Cover.

    I prefer Hollow Knight, but they're both great. HK is more about exploration and figuring things out as you go along and has a pretty solid souls vibe between the difficulty and the environmental storytelling. Also the music is fantastic.

    A bit different but still excellent, this has fighting, including boss fights, and shops etc. It also has some optional very tricky bits if that's your jam.

  What about DLC compatibility with AU accounts? Does UK DLC work with AU?

    Depends on whether it’s included on cart or a code.
    If it’s on cart, no further action required.
    If it’s a DLC code you may have to create a UK account to redeem, fairly straightforward process though.
    I’m not sure which one this is as I’ve regrettably paid $50 for my copy from JB last year.

      Hollow knight DLC is free and updated into the game, it'd be on the cartridge

  The physical edition of Hollow Knight includes all 4 DLCs/expansions to the original game included in the disc/cartridge.

    Yeah, $35 for the AU version was a good deal, my first playthrough and one of the few physical editions that feels complete with manual/map
