The $19.90 Sim with 15GB of data is $7 at Coles until 6/8 if you don't mind less data.

If you don't see a ticket for it, it should scan at $7 at the register.

Any cheap deal for 365 days sim?

  • By when do I need to activate?

    • Activate by 05/11/24 from the website.

      • So not within 30 days like for the cashback deals?

  • I'm not sure it's a 4G sim card.

I bought one of these. I cannot receive or make calls.
Called them up and was told that they are on 5G network.

They advise me to change phones to make phone calls.

I just activated my number today. It works fine. My phone only supports 4G.

    • These SIM cards can be used either for 5G or 4G. The phone will connect as either if it's compatible.

It seems that you've got one of the older phones which could only make and receive calls through 3G even however it was marketed as a 4G phone. The phone could only do 4G through data but the calling part of the phone was 3G only. And since Vodafone turned off 3G then the phone had become useless for making or receiving calls. You need a new phone.

    • Are you using Android?
Most likely you need to turn on the VoLET

      • The problem is there are older smartphones even but it was marketed as 4G it does not support VoLTE. These are the same smartphones which can only do 3G calling but 4G data. That's a problem.
