  I remember the Vivoactive 4 being the new model.

  seems like a good price for the 5. although not sure what is upgraded.

    Biggest difference is the AMOLED screen (vs the always-on MIP display of the 4 which also has far superior battery life)

      weird how Garmin has so many models. and OLED on Vivoactive 5 makes it way different from Vivoactive 4 and more like a Venu model.

      isn’t the point of so many models supposed to be so you can find the right watch?!

    Honestly it's not worth upgrading from 4 to 5. You lose features like barometric altimeter and stainless steel bezel (the 5 has aluminium). Instead you gain a newer heartrate monitor and AMOLED display.

    The Vivoactive 5 has been described as a Venu 3 lite.

      I don’t have a Vivoactive 4. but spotted some good deals on it back when Ryda AU eBay had decent prices with eBay codes supported.
      ended up cheaping out and settled for Venu SQ. it has what I wanted in terms of battery life and NFC pay.

      but I was going to say doesn’t OLED basically make it a Venu??

  Am I hallucinating or that looks like the current base model Galaxy Watch? Literally wearing the Galaxy Watch 5 LTE rn and the similarities are uncanny.
