          @yangguchunyang7612: I mean deadlock. It’s a lock that once fully locked you cannot open even from inside without the key.

              @samuraix29: The internal side of the device can be manually turned unlike a deadlock which requires a key to unlock

    About 135mm from the bolt centre.
    Front unit needs about 10mm less.

  This was available when the prime sales first started for about the first hour or two. Mine arrived on tuesday and installed it then. It was pretty easy to fit after removing the existing gainsborough deadbolt. Could almost use the same bolt except the through holes to mount the two halves was too small. So I ended up taking the extra minute to fit the new included bolt mechanism. Its a nice thing not having to pull my keys out of deep pockets when I get home.

  I've had one on my pedestrian gate for a few years to give remote access for deliveries and access for people when not home like the pool guy who can have their own code so I can see who has operated the gate.

  Weatherproofing is good as it's exposed to the elements. Still get lazy delivery drivers who don't follow instructions and or don't bother to even ring the video doorbell but most are ok.
