Recommended 50" TV under $1K

Hi everyone, I am looking for a replacement TV and due to space and budget constraints - no bigger than 50" and under 1K.

I had a quick look this morning and found these 2 options:

Has anyone had any experience with these? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I got the TCL 55” C755 recently to replace a broken TV. Happy with it so far. It was reasonably well reviewed, and the store person suggested that at this price point you get better bang for your buck by going with TCL rather than brands like Samsung and LG.

  wow i did exactly the same thing yesterday got a TCL 50C755 for $855 from jb price matching appliance central and i know its not the cheapest its ever been but it took 20 minutes to for my tv to turn on today so i dont think it will last much longer so theres not too much time to wait for a better deal
