Asked imou Amazon if any better deals for Prime day - there is Further 5% off the current prime day promo price for this model. Not cheapest ATL, but I feel not bad for the money, couldn’t find cheaper via Ali or eBay right at this moment in time- but always happy to be proven wrong. Note this is the 2MP version.

    Much of a muchness - spec wise as far as I can tell.

    If you're using tp link gear, it makes sense to get tp link to keep it all in 1 app.
    If you're using imou, it makes sense to go imou to keep it all in 1 app ( although - I personally have 10 imou cams now, and 6 eufy cams across 2 sites)

    If you're starting from scratch, either would be about the same if its just 1 or 2 you will want.
    Can't say for tp-link's app - i never used it myself - but i prefer imou's app over the eufy app all day every day. I just didnt want to put all my eggs in 1 basket.

    Imou's option says it supports smart tracking (so the camera will pan with the movement to keep following it) - the tplink I could not see anything about that (Im happy to be corrected though!). I havent got this exact camera - but my cruisers and cell cams have this functionality - I turned it off though because I have it high and far enough I can see the whole FOV i need anyway. Sometimes a tree with big branch would sway in heavy wind and it would get confused by that too…

    Usually yes.
    But I just asked the Amazon rep.

    After I got my first cruiser se ages ago i hit them up for a better price for a second one. Price was pretty good so I asked can I share.
