Hi all.. I am planning to purchase some solar lights of different types to use on driveway, exterior brick walls, and Colorbond fence. Given most solar lights aren't of super high quality usually (and hence not permanent), drilling multiple screws for them everywhere would be very annoying. I was wondering if any high quality mounting tape, adhesive pads/screws etc can be used in lieu of the drilling option and can povide the required level of strength for mounting the lights. A quick search on Google tells me that Gorilla brand heavy duty mounting tape may work (seems better than 3M for this purpose) but I was wondiering if anyone has used such options and can provide some first hand feedback. Please feel free to link the product that you used. Thanks!

I find this stuff is the best for these type of thing. I have used it to mount solar powered light and even a small MPPT solar controller with no problems.

I’m using neodymium magnets for my solar lights on colorbond fence. Magnets stuck on the lights using liquid nails.
Thanks. Can you please share the links to the exact magnets and liquid nails that you purchased?
Got the magnets off eBay. Unbranded rectangle shape approx 2cm x 0.5cm. Shelley liquid nails from Bunnings.
Liquid nails tends to dry and get brittle. Silicone is better, stays flexible.
Siakaflex, either construction adhesive or adhesive sealant
I made my own gutter mounts with a 3d printer for the below solar lights. , but you can buy them online for security cameras.

Silicone. Masking tape to hold it up while it sets.
