Has anyone used Bauhn - how's the reliability? I've seen some of their TVs around but not Battery Packs.
I purchased one of their 8 way surge power board with USB a while back as they had it on clearance from $50 to $25. It's been working fine since day 1 (touchwood). Can't comment on their power banks though… I'm in the market for a 20000 / 65W power bank and been waiting for the INIU B62 to go on sale but it's not coming down to the $30 mark anymore.
Maybe I'll grab this and see how it is.
I used to use the Anker ones a few years back but they’re so expensive now. I’ll grab one from Aldi and let you know how it stacks up.
Just make sure you keep the receipt because of the 60 day satisfaction guarantee & 1yr warranty.
Have a TV from them which is still going strong after many years. Their party Bluetooth speaker however is rubbish
Is this flight compliant?
Yes. 99.9Wh so less than 100Wh. You can go up to 160Wh with some airlines if you declare — but its a pain.
3.7V cell * 27000mAh = 99.9Wh
May look at one of these Saturday - My previous Romoss 20,000 mAh died after a fair few years (as in discharges too fast and the internals swelling up). It only Seems a bit bigger/heavier than the Romoss (466 g).
30W+ for PD charging would be better than the 18W, although don't personally need too much more currently (for laptops, but nice to have).
Doesn't seem like there is anything much better in the prime day sales, agree Anker is pretty pricey these days.
These likely to sell out this morning? Anyone going down to get one?
Update: I was holding out for the INIU B62 but since there haven't been any sub $50 deals lately, I opted for this. I went in the morning @ 11am (Wetherill Park NSW) and if was half gone. There was 2x white and around 7x black remaining. I bought one, brought it home and can confirm that it reliably charges my Dell XPS 13 via 100W Baseus male to male USC C. When I connected my Google Pixel 5, it said charging rapidly. I only checked the USB C port, not the Type A since I mostly use USB C. In terms of build quality and overall feel, It's plastic. It does come with a pouch but feels a bit rough. The INIU B62 has a slightly more premium feel to it. The digital display and the button feel just a tad tacky on the Bauhn and it is taller/heavier. For $50, I can't complain. Unfortunately I don't have tools to test performance like charge capacity and wattage output. Overall, am happy with the purchase. The +7000 Mah (over the 20k) is a nice bonus.
I grabbed a white one this morning as well. I think they are fine for the price. 1yr warranty (although 2 would be possible with ACL I assume). Can confirm 2 way PD charging, and also shows charging rapidly on pixel 8.
Haven't heard of INIU before recently but note they are on mentioned on here and another brand like Romoss on amazon. The iniu would have been good for $36.
I also considered the Baseus 65W Power Bank 26800mAh, ~$53 with ebay plus. It does look flash but longevity seems a bit hit and miss so doesn't seem built to last, or has issues.
I have the Baseus Blade 100w/20,000mah which works flawlessly. Couple months ago got the INIU B62 (65w/20,000) for $29. It was a deal that lasted literally 18 minutes so I was the lucky few. Gave it away to my brother in law since he needed one. Hence why I got the Bauhn. Wife will use this Bauhn for her mobile and laptop. I'll keep the receipt and warranty slip in case anything goes wrong. Let's wait and see how it holds up.
yeah i'm sure the Bauhn should be fine - seems basic but does everything you want, testing the phone a few times to see how it goes. I wouldn't mind some auto shut-off type features when phone is charged to 100% but don't think such things exist. Features like passthrough would be handy (but easy enough to charge either the phone or the power bank).
The Bauhn apparently has trickle charging which is good for some devices that don't like high powered charging (fitbit, bike lights etc)
I'm not sure how this works, must auto detect. Both USB A outputs are the same (5V-3A). My other power bank (romoss) has two different USB A outputs: 5V 2.1A, 5V 1A (USB-A).
Still thinking about the Baseus 65W Power Bank 26800mAh for $5 more (ebay plus). It does look fancier, maybe a bit intimidating for airport staff.. Not sure if it actually does anything better or not but wouldn't mind testing both. Don't know if it's any better than any other power bank though.

@G-rig: Trickle Charging Mode
• Double-click the power button to activate trickle charging mode for
charging low-power devices such as smart watches, smart bands and
earbuds. The “%” symbol will flash to indicate this mode.
• The power bank will auto turn off the trickle charging mode after
approximately 2 hours.
• Press the power button to manually turn off trickle charging mode.
• If high-power devices are connected, the power bank will
automatically turn off trickle charging mode
@happy1923: Wow, thanks!!

more details
As others have noted, this is slightly plasticky, specially the ports themselves,
heavy- 520gms
largish (roughly 185x85x25)
The pouch included is mesh-like, and you can almost read the battery readout while the power bank is in there.
Should be alright to keep in the laptop bag. If specs stand true, it should be able to recharge my laptop almost two times over.
Agreed I think it will be fine, the specs and power are good. Sure doesn't feel as nice in the hand as the Romoss, and seems basic but should do the job.
Wonder if that one I mentioned above is actually any better (Baseus 65W Power Bank 26800mA) - mentions a lot about protection circuits etc but maybe they all have this. Got the aldi one for now anyway so will do (and most likely sit around).
Just picked one up, charges my HP laptop well and i cant fault the quality for the price! Also like others on this thread, I've only had good experiences with Aldi electronics in the past
