    thanks,

but I do not think it is a good price.

    • Right? The 2TB was like 220 or 230 2 months ago

      • 2TB is $228 from the same link.

yeah i got mine for like 99 a few years ago if i remember correctly

for those doesn’t need speed, Lenovo ps6 1tb is also a great budget option to consider for only $79. Half the speed, but maybe good enough for backup and Tesla recording etc.

    • That $79 SSD seems bigger too. Is it the slower SATA interface, and not the smaller and faster NVME interface?
Is that 500MB/s transfer speed good enough for Tesla recording?

      • From my memory, the drive that comes with Tesla is about 130MB/s read and 40MB/s write. I would imagine 500MB/s is even better.

Was on the tipping point of buying one today
But then remebered it has been much cheaper

    $100-120 a few months ago

    Not really a bargin.

Went with the 2tb lenovo ps6 for $135
(Sacrifice speed for cheaper and double capacity)

  • This was like $151 last night and went down to $149 today!

1TB at this price is not a bargain. Avoid unless desperate..

  • Now $139 which is still too high for a 1TB

  • Their illegal and misleading RRP comparisons need to be called out.

It's also caveat emptor wrt Prime day deals. I paid $161 for a red T7 from Amazon AU a month ago, it's now $13 more with the Prime "Savings" $10 off.
