Not sure I've see the Pro this cheap before so it might be an ATL.

If you don't care about rumble/gyro, these are the best joy con replacements you can get.

They are permanently in my switch.

    • I wish they could be used wirelessly

    • Do you miss the rumble/gyro? I haven't bought them (yet) but can't play handheld with the joycons so need to find something.

      • Depends on the game.

Generally no for what I play, but some games I need to switch over to a pro controller like for zelda

        • Any issues with having them attached when docking? I'd heard there was a potential issue with the new(OLED) dock.

          • +1

@Orrelljet: Nope. I use the OLED, totally fine.

    • Thanks, been keeping an eye out for Joy Con sales but they're still very exi. Grabbed these for my 2nd Switch

  • Maybe a silly question but can they only be used when on the switch? Or can I use that same thing that can turn the Joycons into a controller with these?

    • +1

Handheld only as they don't have batteries. There's an attachment that allows them to be used as a (wired) controller but it's a bit pricey for what it is.

  • Get the Mobapad M6 HD instead: https://www.mobapad.com/products/mobapad-m6-hd

It's more expensive but definitely worth the price

  • I prefer the Split Pad Compact, these are quite chunky.

    • Been looking at them too - still a comfortable improvement over the standard joycons?

      • +1

Definitely, i havent taken them off since i got them. Only drawback as mentioned is the lack of gyro and rumble so you may need to switch back for certain games.

  • due to severe carpal tunnel, I cannot use the normal joy cons as the buttons are too small and close together.
I bought a set of these ages ago and they are great, I can use the switch in mobile mode no problem.
I have a pro controller for docked mode which is also god send.

  • Split Pad Compact is on sale too $53.27. I picked one of those up. Less chucky than the pro.
