I have a free Spotify Account, and until recently you could skip each ads after 5 seconds on your computer.
But for a couple of days, it does not let me skip ads after the 5 seconds,
Does anyone has the same issue?

Ads pay the bill… Guessing the people who had been paying to run ads hadn't been happy they had been skipped.
Even better, use Firefox + UBlock Origin extension and you won't even get ads.

Yes but the only issue I encounter when using it on mobile is that the track slider doesn't work (you can't rewind or fast forward while listening to a song).
Assuming you can't use this via Apple Car play though?
I use spotube on my phone an open-source alternative. Works great, no ads ;).
I love how it caches the songs to my sd card! The app doesn't work offline but the default music player (or any other music player app) plays the folder just fine :) when I don't have reception.

I just tried, music stopped after a couple of songs. I can see advertisement written on top right corner, but blocked images and sound of the ad. But it seems blocked, does not get back to music, unless I refresh the browser.
Tried on Chrome + Ublock Origin

I've been using freemium spotify for ages and did not know this. how do you do it? just go "hey google skip this ad?"
Nope, not on Alexa nor Google nest nor Android/Apple, only on your computer desktop app (and Browser maybe? I have not tested). The "Next song" button is greyed out for 5 seconds and then let you skip to the next ad or song

no way, especially if the ads are gone on the browser with ublok origin like the comment above. I don't want any offline features, just no ads is fine.
Fair enough, but for ~$20 a year the premium features are well worth it.

Yep, no idea why but just stopped using it, use amazon music instead for now, as too annoying at the gym, and spotify just became 90 seconds of adverts every 5-10 minutes.
