      Blue is so much better, and pretty much every single malt whisky that comes out of Scotland is better. Japanese whisky is over rated over hyped.

      The only thing this is better is the nice bottle and fancy paper sticker on the bottle. Is that worth $170? Not to me.

  So not worth $170, $50 max. Pretty boring blended Japanese whiskey. This use to sell for $20-$30 in Japan before the Japanese whiskey hype wagon rolled into town.

  Slightly tempted to just grab it for the collection - and it is the best price we've seen in a long time - but have heard Nikka from the Barell is a good blended Japanese Whisky and under $100.
