So was on Amazon obsessing on whether I should go for a L10s Ultra or a L20 Ultra and noticed that the L10s Pro Ultra Heat was also on sale. Talk about throwing a spanner in the works and now i'm even more confused.

Just an FYI, this page does a comparison of the three models.

So, being extremely confused, any thoughts or opinions on which model is best to buy would be greatly appreciated.

  • it doesn't have an anti tangle roller brush? how about ecovacs t30 omni ?

    • worried about the mapping of the ecovacs. apparently it's really bad.

  • Been looking at L10s models and they don't have mop removal which I hear is not good if you have plenty of carpet? Also you may want to consider compatible models if you want it to work fully offline https://valetudo.cloud/

    • don't have that much carpet, am wondering whether $200 is worth the dropping of the mop heads? L10s ultra and pro ultra heat is supported (i think)

  • I'm leaning towards the heat, no carpet so no benefit from the L20 personally

  • That table says the L20 ultra doesn’t have hot water mop cleaning, but the marketing materials indicate it does… can anyone who owns one comment?

    • +1

marketing materials say hot air drying but no hot water mop cleaning which the l10s pro ultra heat has.

    • The heat is only used to clean the mop pads in the base.

  • I just got the L10 Heat from JB which is at a similar price. Working great - I have one floor rug and it has been working well.

What I do with the app is set it to vacuum first then mop, so it avoids going over the carpeted area with a wet mop.

Didnt think it was worth the $200 for L20 and I wanted the hot air drying on the mop pads.

    • This. You can also set the room cleaning order in the app, so that carpeted rooms get cleaned first, before the mops are wet, and then the hard-floor rooms. That way you can use the vac and mop option. I think the advantage of this over vacuum first then mop is the time saving, since it does not have to go over the same area twice.

  • L10S pro ultra is $1568 when using the JB $30 off $300 code

  • L10s Pro Ultra Heat could be had for $1470 at the HN, with a bit of haggling during a recent sale. If I remember correctly, the advantage of L20 Ultra is a somewhat larger battery and mop dropping, but no hot water mop washing. Mop dropping is not as important as it may seem, since you can set the order of room cleaning to preference carpeted rooms first (before the mops are wet).

  • I'd probably go the L10S Ultra Pro Heat. Have had the L10S Ultra since October last year. Has been GREAT! However, it has developed a weird noise, so have initiated a return through Amazon literally like an hour ago and they have given me return label and will issue a refund when they receive it.

Now I could get the L10S Ultra again and actually "make" $225, but I like the idea of the extendable mop pads on the L10S Ultra. Don't really care about the hot washing, as mine was fine at mopping without it. The Pro Heat also has more suction vs just the Ultra. The Pro Heat in my opinion is basically the L20 Ultra without the mop pad drop off that the L20 has…

So, in conclusion…. I would recommend going with the L10S Ultra Pro Heat! I'm about to purchase one myself and then wait for the refund of the L10S Ultra to come through.

i think that's the conclusion i'm coming to too, really can't justify the extra $200 for just mop dropping.
