  • Definitely recommend at the price

  • Bummer, haven’t opened mine from the last deal. Can you get Amazon to refund the difference?

    • I've had items go on sale before they were even delivered and Amazon refused to refund the difference. You'd have to order a new set and return a set, which is free postage if you have Prime.

      • I kinda don’t want to go down this road, trying with chat atm. They must be overwhelmed, long waiting time.

    • You can always return and buy again if they accept it if unopened. I never understood why they don’t just offer to price match and refund difference to save the hassle though.

      • Also @Munkeyalan, rep issued $7 promo credit. Looks like they are reasonable after all. Saved a trip to the post office.

        • Nice! What day did you receive yours? I might give it a shot.

        • Not sure how you got that - they refused to give credit back as it breaks their pricing policy

          • @Deal-Sniper: I just asked if it’s possible to refund the difference. Nicely, of course. If you return then buy it with the TopCashback $40 deal you get more refund, might be a better alternative.

    • I have got offered refund of the price difference by Amazon. Try their chat

Would all those 50 pieces for $15 on marketplace be compatible you reckon?

    • The ones with rounded corners are not compatible

  • Good gift for young kids. They all just love these tiles.

  • It says only 14% off

Almost jumped on these but theres a few 1 star reviews of them coming apart and with magnets thats very concerning.

    • Mine arrived yesterday and my kids spent 3 hours playing with them and no issues at all with the magnets

Think of the Kmart ones but 100 times better.

We got gifted Connetix which seem very sturdy but SO expensive. I wonder how these compare.

        • +1

Not sure sorry as I haven't used them so can't compare. I am very impressed with the weight and magnet strength of these. Just bought another set at this price.

Note that you will need multiple sets to build some of the ideas in the booklet like the big castles and towers etc.

          • @PTG Benny: I’ve now got the 60 and 100 boxes but still can’t build half of the suggestions. You need the 152 piece expansion pack with the differently shaped tiles currently for $106.78
It must be their way of sucking you into the Picasso world, unfortunately I don’t want to put anymore cash in.

        • I’m in the same boat. Have a couple of connetix packs, and really impressed with them. But these are wayyyy cheaper

        • +1

Did a bit of googling and apparently these can be used interchangeably with Connectix, the main difference being instead of the metal lug in each corner that holds Connectix pieces together, these are glued (so more likely to come apart).

          • @bejahi: Yeah the metal rivet is reassuring. So these are glued - that makes sense. I might pass.

    Thanks @hamza23 Awesome deal

  • Purchased! Thanks.
    $3 back form ShopBack too!

    • $2 from TCBAU. Hand in your membership!

  • I have been using these for years. Havent had any break and kids have spent the equivalent of days playing with these! Great buy.

    • I am conflicted now.

  • Those who have both - are these compatible with Connectix? There's only anecdotal evidence

    • +2

Connetix and Magna Tiles are completely compatible, so you are free to mix and match them in any way you want. The same goes for Picasso Tiles. Just keep in mind that Picasso Tiles are easier to break because they're held together by glue. Connetix are held together using metal, making them much more durable.

  • Bought these last prime day for ~$60 and they were a good deal at that price. Ordered more in the boxing day sale and getting more again - it's crazy to see what a toddler can come up with on their own.
