Even cheaper than the recent deal, $3.50 each without S&S and $3.15 each with S&S.
Happy cleaning!

I find it lasts much longer than the scotchbrites we used to use.
I was a big "can't be that good" person until I finally tried it and it really can be that good, lasts way longer and that alone makes up for the increased upfront cost
Have always wanted to try this but it seems the product releases huge amounts of micro plastics. Anyone care to share their experience?
Every product of this type is made of plastic and releases microplastics.
I’ve used Scrub Daddies/Mommies for a few years and truthfully never considered this issue, but given the declining condition of my year-old Scrub Mommy, longterm microplastic release seems plausible.
For me, this would be more of an environmental concern than a direct health threat, because all the items I wash by hand get rinsed under running water, so any microplastic particles would likely be going down the drain.
Nevertheless, I acknowledge that the fewer microplastics introduced into our oceans and environment the better.
A reasonable counter-argument might be that the Scrub Daddy products tend to outlast traditional and ScotchBrite sponges by a considerable margin (at least 6:1, in my experience), so by using SD sponges you’re potentially producing much less landfill waste, but I’m fully prepared to be discredited on this.
As previously commented, these are excellent for their longevity and reduced propensity to stink, and they’re pretty effective if used correctly (warm/hot water generally, cold water when you need stronger scrubbing power).
That said, I still need to bust out the ScotchBrite for serious scrubbing, and my main criticism of the standard Scrub Daddies is that the lower density/higher porosity of the material means that dish detergent washes through it much faster, so I found myself consuming a lot more of it.
I “solved” that by investing in the Scrub Mommy (pink+yellow) type for general use, a standard Scrub Daddy for medium-duty scrubbing and the ScotchBrite for heavy duty applications.
is the mom one better & more versatile as it has the two different sides?
That’s subjective, but I personally find that because of its denser (yellow) foam layer, the Mommy variant produces more detergent suds and the detergent lasts much longer before needing to be topped up.
Bear in mind that I wash dishes under running water, because I only have 1 tiny sink in the place I rent, so I can’t have one full sink for washing and the other for rinsing. As such, YMMV on the relevance of the above concern.
My chief criticism of the Scrub Daddy is that the porosity of its material allows detergent to “wash through/out of” it much more rapidly, so I was going through a bottle of detergent much faster.
I also like using the yellow side of the Mommy to clean delicate glassware, thought admittedly I’ve never known the Scrub Daddy to abrade glass like ScotchBrite does.
Agreed, pretty frustrating using the daddy tbh lol cannot work up a lather and prefer the mommy
Thanks that's really helpful, going into all the detail about your experiences!
I've tried both and the scrub mommy is way more effective. I actually hated the scrub daddy! It was too stiff and seemed to deteriorate faster.
scrub mommy also on sale, but not as cheap $4.14 S&S
wish I could justify buying a $3.15/sponge :(
