I don’t like anything that’s not AA or AAA powered

I think one or two AA battery would be heavier than the mice…

        😭still prefer that way

This or the Logitech G305 Light Speed for gaming and work? Claw grip, small hands. Using the Razer Viper Mini atm.

Personal opinion since I only own a G305 and a much bigger G502 but if you prefer a rechargeable and light weight mouse, the G Pro X Superlight.
If you like being able to swap the battery out as needed and don't mind a little extra weight and a slightly awkward egg design, the G305. (This thing made my pinky hurt like crazy for the first couple weeks of usage because of the design)
If you like something a bit smaller but well shaped and don't mind your bluetooth or anything using the 2.4ghz frequency becoming pretty much unusable, the Razer Orochi V2 is a good idea.

      • I'll make sure to rule out Razer Orochi V2 as BT & 2.4ghz is VERY important for me!

        • Also took a look at your other reply and to give you an idea of battery life with the G305, mine lasted about 6 months on a single normal Eneloop AA battery. I did have them on settings where they save battery and reduced polling rate as I don't play FPS's but if you do, they may vary.

As for your comment about the price, the Superlight is made for people that require quick reflexes for their games, otherwise the G305 is more than enough. The G Pro Wireless OP mentioned was also made for people that required quick reflexes but the problem with that is it uses micro USB instead of USB-C for charging, the Superlight changed that to USB-C charging.

    • I have both but prefer the superlight. The G305 would be similar to what you're using currently. Superlight is good if you want something really light. The downside would be charging the device every once in a while depending on usage.

      • Oh, batteries and charging don't really bother me. It's the 9-10 hours for the work day, and maybe 3-4 hours once a week for gaming.

If the G305 is the same as the Razer Viper Mini, then the Superlight will be the next choice. But at three times the cost, is it really worth it?

        • The G Pro Wireless could be another option for you as well, it's heavier than the Superlight but not by much.
