i opted out and then reopted in
lets see if I get them

    • metoo

    • Did it ask you to link/add your Everyday Rewards card number again? Even if you opt out seems to still save your Everyday Rewards card

    • So did you get the points?

      • Nope

        • Nothing for me either after opting out and back in

        • +1

Yep same no points for me after opting out and linking back. Worked on another account that has never linked though

          • @firestint: I also didn't get points and I had linked to food tracker sometime in the past for a previous promotion. So it seems this promotion is for new food tracker users only.

  • Targeted?

    Selling data for 1000pts?

    • Which is what, $5? That you will save only by using it at their store anyway.. there's so much wrong with this

    • +14

Selling them data they already have, to not use a service they provide for a couple of weeks

      Why not?

So what's to stop someone signing up 20 times with the 1500 point signup thing on the back of the Safeway dockets, add this 1K to it, and snagging as many $10 / 2000 point vouchers as they can be bothered?

Does it need phone verification or something, or all just emails?

    • +6

      lol Safeway. Showing your age

    • Nothing, but I guess most people don't want to waste their time on that.

    • I think you'd need a mobile number to sign up?

    • What 1500 signup point thing are you referring to, pardon my ignorance? It is on the back of receipts?

      • Edit - I just tried this. Works, just confirming. Disregard my previous comment

    • Nothing I presume, going by how many fuel vouchers I got when this started.

  • So we could sign up the day before the offer expires, share data for one day and still get 1000 points?

  • +10

Signed up today, and got the points within an hour or so. Thanks OP.

    • Was it instant for you or you actually had to wait for a while (1hr~ish)? Cheers. I didn't get the pts straightaway.

      • +6

Not sure, as I signed up from Woollies app, and left the mobile. Checked my Rewards app within an hour, and the points were there.

  • +2

I signed up for it but if this was a calorie tracking app that had all of woolworths items nicely laid out and easy to add based on my previous shops I would use it.

Who's the target market for an app that tells you to eat "more" protein, what is "more" 1g 10g 100g?

provide an email address and opt in to receive marketing communications.

It's not in the terms and conditions but in the 1000pts Offer graphic it says:

"Enter your email and subscribe to expert advice to receive your points."

"Expert advice" is a subscription toggle you need to turn on before finalising the sign-up process and is separate to the "receive marketing communications" tick box.

Got my points fairly quick, thanks OP

    • +3

Yep got mine in under 30mins.

      • +1

        Cool, great to know!

    • +1

      Same here, thanks OP!

  • +2

I’m assuming we can cancel after points received?

    • You can just sign up to the mailing list with a fake email. There is no verification at all.

  • +2

    Cheers OP got 1000pts.

  • -2

    Not for $5, no thanks

  • Unsubscribed and then re-subscribed yesterday - Got no points as yet. Doubt it's going to payout.

  • @VantageXL Is this for first time subscribers only? I didn't get the points as a previous subscriber.

Re-subscribed yesterday and opted in to expert advice and marketing communications but still no points today or email confirmation. Several comments here about receiving the points shortly after subscribing. Thanks.

    • Accidentally subscribed on the everyday rewards app, then unsubscribed and resubscribed on the woolworths app last night. No points yet. Not sure if I will if subscribed on the everyday rewards app first?

    • Did you have the 1000pts offer banner at the bottom of your Woolworths App when you followed the first bullet point?

      • Yes, the 1000 points offer was there and is still showing.
Do you have to be signed into the Woolworths app? I'm not but my rewards card is now linked when I subscribed to the Food Tracker.

        • No idea. I think Woolworths just show you whatever they want but keep a record on their backend if you are already subscribed.

Their T&C's especially as they relate to Healthylife historically aren't exactly overflowing with integrity.

Is this for first time subscribers only?

I can't see anything in the terms that would suggest that. If the points don't eventually credit then the question is whether it's worth your time to contact Everyday Rewards.

    • Same here, no points yet.

  • Too many emails from all the ER partners, end up turning all that shit off. Not worth it for the chance at $5 once a year or whatever.

    • Everyday Rewards has pretty much become a complete convoluted mess and a joke of an offers platform but I will admit I made out like a bandit on the original Healthylife offers a few years back.

      • Yeah barely worth scanning it most of the time, just the odd bws specials.

  • useless login/linking so not worth it for a future $5 and theft of all your data… lol

  • If the points come through can we opt out?
