Purkle is pretty decent, back when I was working I earnt about $200 in their surveys. If you don't qualify they give you 20c or something too, the Octopus one didnt

Octopus gives you 10 cents now if you don’t qualify, they tend to pay the best per survey too. My opinions and pureprofile are also decent.

yougov is legit but takes ages to earn enough pts to get $20 or $50 voucher.
    1-2x surveys/day tops, takes about a month for $20.

i make about 50 a month with purkle

Made over 1k from octopus last year. Unethical LPT, when you sign up saying you are male, 20-30, that you smoke (tick all options), that you drink (tick all options). Alcohol and tobacco surveys pay the most. You only get offered surveys on things you tick you do.If you get lucky at the end of cig/tobacco surveys they ask if you are willing to be sent a sample and paid to complete a survey on it. Got $400 for 'testing' 18 samples of tobacco….I dont smoke.

The reason for saying you are male is that there is more likely to be more females (due to the stay at home mums) already completing the surveys and it's assumed the company paying for the survey wants a 50/50 male/female split.

Also make sure you don't tick that any of the friends/family etc work in whatever related industry it asks at the start or you will get screened out.

How many hours was this do you think?

    • Hopefully you didn't agree to your profile data being shared with your life insurance company :-)

    • Whats was the question around the sample tobacco? Did u get away with making fake answers or did u actually have to smoke some?

  • News connect

You can exchange them for gift cards though

  • Octopus is by far the best

  • Try Pureprofile. The app shows you the estimated time and reward for each survey before you start so you can decide if a survey is worth your time.

Purkle is good in my experience. I managed to get on to an internet usage survey so had to install an app on my spare phone and get like $15 a month.

    Also try ipsos isay

I get $30 a month from their tracking thing, just installed it on the kids tablets and they can monitor the YouTube kids usage 😂

      • I think I’ll do the same with the Mrs iPad and her constant influencer drama videos

  • Emailcash

  • don't forget the 3 hours of survey you have to do for free so they can determine if you can do the paid survey
    it's all data getting collected

  • I'm a researcher and I use Askable. It's not only surveys, but also diary studies, interviews, and other types of research. Pays nicely if you care enough to fill in your profile and apply for the studies where you are a fit — don't lie, or they will kick you off the platform.
For diary studies, Dscout is good, too.

  • Pure profile, my opinions & valued opinions. Also checkout real-time research, not surveys but focus groups (in person & online) & product tests. They pay well, normally about $50-$100 an hour.

  • Focus groups are good but I hardly get any now due to my age I suspect. I used to earn good money from them up until a few years ago.

They are not easy to get, and also they do not like you doing them too often. Sometimes they will take you if they are desperate for people to fill a quota even if you have previously done a group within the last six months on a totally different subject. Face to face groups are much better than zoom in my view as you get to meet interesting people, and usually there are snacks etc. Should add that if you are not comfortable speaking and sharing your opinion in front of others, then not for you. I used to be quite shy, but doing focus groups helped me a lot.

Product testing is another good avenue, but again hard to get into. Your Source at Chadstone SC does food tasting. Worth getting on the mailing list, but if you are housebound with health issues, not so good. I've also done user testing for websites etc, with other companies.

I mostly use Pureprofile, Valued Opinions, YouGov, Purkle and a few others. They can be time consuming and some do waste your time asking questions then screening you out. Pisses me off but it is what it is. It they do it too often, I dump them after I have earned enough points for a reward and then close my account.

  • Anyone wanna share Octopus referral code before I sign up?

Is anyone here using Mint surveys these days? I don't mind the really short surveys you can do on your phone. I ordered a $50 gift card in January and still haven't received it. No reply to my queries about it, so maybe they're not paying out?

Thank you everyone for your comments ,have signed up to a few different ones now

Pure profile is the best , paid and time oriented.
The worst one is survey monkey" I have to do it free at work 😫.

  • I think most of the posts saying Octopus are the best is just because it has a referral code >_> My personal favorites are YouGov, Prolific, Ticketek Rewards and Google Opinion Rewards. None of them have referral programs but they're all great, Octopus is just ok.
