These are very good except they're not quite wide enough for my oven so sometimes they're hard to put in and pull out

    • +2

I'm the only appropriate comment here.

What's the deal with all the deleted inappropriate comments? Why do people have to be so stupid?

  • Thank you op. Bought one.

Thanks op bought one, for the general community, does anyone have any affordable recommendations for sicilian pizza pan?

I plan to use it hopefully with the spotlight pizza oven however I found if the pan is too tall, it ends up only burning the one side.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, half sheet wont fit into most Aussie ovens. And the Quarter sheet is a bit short/small but you can try fit two beside each other like “11” rather than “=“.

I have four of these. And have matching plastic covers and stainless steel mesh rack to fit inside them. And that provides a lot of options for different uses. You can spatchcock a whole chicken and dry brine on the mesh for example.

      • Have a 900 wide oven in my new build and it’s so good having the extra width. The half sheet pans are great. A bit cumbersome to clean even with a wider single sink though…

      • Really stupid that there isn't an international standard to oven sizes.

even if there is one i you bet america won't use it

    • How do you figure $20 is standard?
Camels shows this as an all time low.

There you go. $20 and ACTUALLY THE ADVERTISED SIZE.

Aluminium and made in China lol

          Bit of a flop comparison.

@Jessie Ryder: I think these days American made is no longer a symbol of quality. Unless you just prefer to buy from people who speak the same language and have the same colour skin. Then fair enough.

        • I have a half sheet pan. This isn't your usual thin aluminum sheet pan. It's steel-infused, thicker, and heavier, so it holds heat really well and doesn't warp in high heat. I know you weren't keen on it, but you should give it a try—it's worth it!

        The STANDARD size for a quarter sheet pan IS 24 x 33 cm (9 1/2″ x 13″).
When measuring, they typically measure the exterior length and width from one outer edge to the other outer edge.

However, the flat usable part inside is slightly smaller (31.7 x 22.8 cm) because of the sharp wedge-shaped edge walls surrounding it.
This means the actual baking area you can use is a bit less than the total exterior size

Do you buy a 26cm skillet then find out the cooking area is only 22cm wide?

Or buy a pipe thats 16mm wide only to find the internal width is only 12mm?

Use your brain instead of emotions, might get you places.

  • I always thought a quarter sheet was bigger.

This is only 2.5 cm deep. Not deep enyfor a cake imp

I had a few of these but be aware that the coating flakes off after awhile. Better than most nonstick pans, but be careful when cleaning baked on food.

    Nordic Ware pretty good

One thing to take care off with this pan is to hand wash them and not in the dishwasher. They loose their shine and become black and discoloured.

    • Still on the lookout for truly dishwasher safe oven trays.

Are those measurements accurate? that seems tiny for a baking tray, A4 size

    • They don't use A4 in the US.

      • A4 is part of the metric global cabal

    Trays made of.. alumulamu

Isn't this just a baking tray? Lol

  • Hope their muffin tray are on discount too, had a hard time cleaning muffin trays

  • What is a high quality one?

  • I wish washing instructions were as clear as branding

Why would you pay over $20 for this and wait for days, when you can get a similar one at Kmart for $3? https://www.kmart.com.au/product/non-stick-cookie-tray-42493…

      You're basically saying:
Why would you 'made in USA' when you can 'made in China'.

      • Also: aluminised steel vs whatever $3 buys you

  • Interesting that these are coated.
I bought the 4 pack from Costco and they have no coating.

  • +1

Very tempted by this but would prefer one with the cooling rack/mesh. Anyone know if there's a rack you can buy that would fit these?

    • +1

      Found these ones: https://www.amazon.com.au/Quarter-Baking-CEKEE-Stainless-Coo…

They're twin set and are slightly larger at 16x12x1" but would still fit in a standard 600mm oven. (I measured against mine and they'll fit at least)

Quality is unknown I guess but it seems to have decent Amazon reviews. No 3camels price history on it though so I've chucked a 10% alert on it and we'll see what comes up.

      • That's a better deal IMO. If I were buying again I'd grab these.

    • AUS uses international gastronorm sizing.
USA of course use their own.

You will struggle (read: price) to find a mesh rack locally to perfectly fit any USA pan.

I own a set of USA pan half and quarter sheets and I just took them into a local catering supply place to get the closest match.

      • Yeah, I had a feeling this was going to be the case. I'm not in a rush so I'll see if the set I linked in my self reply goes on sale and just get those. The "Jelly Roll" size seems to be a nice inbetween from quarter to half but will still fit in most Australian ovens.

  • I do a lot of cooking and sheet pans are probably one of my most used dishes, you want it with a wire rack though.
