Just bought one… Dunno why lol
It's a odd video to watch as i don't see why you'd need a blender, pre-loaded, unmixed in a backpack to blend it fresh lol. Just do it at home and pour it into a drink bottle lmao.
Anyhooo, frugal friday is always fun. Thanks OP 😀

maybe good for an occasion like you went to a strawberry farm (those u-pick ones)
and blend a fresh juice / smoothies just picked from the plant

same thoughts. no idea why you would need to blend a fruit smoothie on the go🤣

Oxidation? Rough cut fruit oxidizes on surface but remains fresh little longer on the inside. So you get fresher taste and little more vitamins (although metal blade ruins a little bit of that too)

i can imagine it being used in the gym for a quick fruit drink, or an easily dissolved scoop of protein

but why not just blend it before you go to the gym….i'm really struggling to see why this product exists lmao

        • Camping?

          • @Clear: I would pre blend for camping too, wouldn't people want to save space when going camping?

Unless youre picking fruits while camping, but how often do you come across fruits while camping 🤣 i wouldnt trust an apple tree in the middle of a forest

            • @jsvr: The issue with camping is you can't clean it properly afterwards.

            • @jsvr: For me camping is in my van, so having a small portable blender works well. Something big will drain my limited battery capacity.

              • @Clear: ok not to be that guy but you're probably using more electricity by charging a battery with a battery, to run a portable blender. you're loosing portion of that with heat and other inefficiencies while charging. a 12v or mini 240v blender would be better.. unless if you are charging that blender using solar or some power outlet other what you have in the van then I guess it makes sense in that case.

    • A good opportunity to use Kogan Rewards points and account credits.

      • Yeah this is true! With free postage (kogan first) and saved credits, some people could get this for free lol. Never thought of that! Will use mine next frugal friday 😀
        Thanks for the tip Neoika!

If it can't do ice, its useless to me. nothing mentioned that it can.

I have a work colleague who has something similar to this.

She pulls out her battery blender, puts her fruit inside and you can hear it struggle to blend it… right next to a powerpoint.

It definitely makes less noise but I feel like there should be powered blenders that make less noise.

I too have a work colleague who pulls out some battery powered implement, puts it inside and you can hear her struggling (you could even call it a moaning sound)… In the cubicle right next to me.
Never seen her drink a shake though so not sure what it is

    • 40w versus 600w+

This is only for Pros. In short, you should only put the ingredients alike the three in the picture. Anything harder only ruins it.

More like a stirrer than a blender lol

Since there's a blade in it, I'm wondering is it really travel-friendly as it says when taking planes.

    • I do fifo. At the airport, They stopped me because of the blade. Then they said, I cannot check this thing because of the battery….. but ofcourse I ignored them and checked in the thing in the bag 😆

  • How many uses before this ends up in landfill.

    • Up to 12 blends before landfill on a single charge
