  • Any good 32" non curved?

Want to use it for gaming and my fire cube.

  • Anyone here able to vouch for this monitor? Tossing up between this, Dell G2724D or LG 27GP850-B.

    • Chimolog review about the MSI is dead on so check it out if you're interested (see the link above).

If I had to choose between these monitors the MSI gets my vote.

The GP850 is the same monitor as S2721DGF which the MSI beats. And the G2724D has a worse screen than the DGF.

Honestly instead of those monitors check out
HP omen 27Q or Asus TUF VG27AQL3A. Both are good contenders against the MSI.

      • Thanks a heap for that info. Yeah I slept on the last 27Q eBay deal a few weeks ago thinking I’d go UWHD, but now set on 2 x 27” 1440.

        • Well currently the 27Q is $359 on sale at eBay; this is without any eBay codes or cashback.

And the Asus L3A is on sale for $389 at Umart; also came with an $100 Asus gift card last week.

Sadly no great deals exist on the MSI; lowest price is $499 at Scorptec. So I would go with one of the monitors above.

Also for reviews of these monitors check out foreign reviews, reddit and YouTube.

          • @MomentOfTruss: The only thing pushing me to the MSI is the PD 65W charging, so that I can use 1 cable for my M2 macbook when switching from PC.

Am I correct in assuming I would need an external PD/DP dock for any monitor without PD to achieve this?

I can't thing of how else it could be done unless there's some sort of USB-C to USB-C female (to plug in a charging lead) & DP splitter.
