What's the ingredient that does that?
No Dermaveeno, no deal
Aveeno body wash 1lt is cheaper at this price ($12.99) but can be had for $8.80 on a very rare occasion Woolies do 50% off.
I bought 2 of them at that price a few weeks ago.
Thanks op. Been waiting for the Dermaveen sale.
What are you buying?
The body wash & lotion is good if you have sensitive skin and care about it being cruelty-free.
Not on sale at Chemist Warehouse but Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 50 is 42% off on Amazon (I think price matching Woolies but with an extra 10% S&S):

I have heard good things so am giving it a go at this price.
It was actually half price at Chemist warehouse until yesterday. Let us know how you go - some people get eye sting from this one - the old version certainly made my eyes water even though I liked the texture
Any specific combination of men's skincare to recommend?
What is your skin type? Men can use the same skincare as women, it's more important to shop according to your skin type
IMO la roche posay sunscreen + CeraVe PM moisturizer is a good base for anyone.
For very basic, I really like the qv ceramides lotion + cleanser, and the cancer council sunscreen face day wear moisturiser in the pink tube. Don't get caught up in the men's skincare marketing - skincare isn't gendered
Otherwise if you want to be slightly more invested, I am liking the illiyoon ceramide ATO cream, i quite the texture. Other notable steps are oil cleansing, helps take the gunk off before the normal cleanser. I'm also a fan of the cerave blemish control gel, has a lot of active exfoliants in one formula. Retinol also good for aging, and vitamin C for brightness
This is an evolving list but here are some my general recommendations for basic skincare products that are good quality, safe on sensitive skin and good value for money.
Cleansers for normal to combination to oily skin
Cleansers for normal to dry skin
Cleansers for dry skin
Moisturisers for normal to combination to oily skin
Moisturisers for normal to dry skin
Moisturiser for dry to very dry skin
Face sunscreens for normal to oily
(Note: These are moisturisers with sunscreens, no need for separate moisturiser if your skin is oily)
Face sunscreens for normal to dry
(Note: may need to layer the sunscreen over moisturiser if your face is dry.)
Face sunscreens for dry to very dry
(Note: layer the sunscreen over moisturiser)
Big fan of the Dermaveen sunscreen but, if it is important to you, be aware that the Dermaveen sunscreen isn't reef safe :(
