    • Expired or OOS lol

Looks like there are 2 of the 13L ones left in Saffron as well. I bought one about a week ago to use as a mini backpack for day activities while travelling.

    7L
    44 / 23 / 12 (L x W x D) cm

    13L
    47 / 24 / 13 (L x W x D) cm

These dimensions don’t make sense converting to L.

I was going to buy one until I saw this youtube review.

That’s a highly skewed review for primary use case being a running backpack.

This should work for me. Lightweight and not bulky when empty and flexible to hold kids water bottles, jumpers and a small shop from the markets.

      • +6

It's marketed specifically as a trail running vest. If it can't comfortably hold standard soft flasks then it's not an option.

        • +2

It also doesn't include soft flasks, the very popular Salomon Active skin does.

      • This sits way up high on ur back.
Its not like a normal bacpack

How it compare to the Macpac backpack? Got the Macpac hiking 50L for a bit more.

C&C at DFO tho to save shipping fee.

    • +1

you dont want to run with a 50L macpac hiking pack

If you want a 50L pack, then you wouldnt buy this

      • Yeah that's the reason I ask. Not sure if this is as good as Macpac backpack. Or better wait for the Macpac to go on sale.

        • They are different things. Its like asking if a motorbike is as good as a Corolla or a tomato is as good as a tin of tuna. It depends what you want. If you are asking about the macpac 12L running pack vs this one - I would go for the Salomon active skin. Otherwise this one is probably better

If you want a backpack for travel, for hiking, for taking stuff to work or school etc then none of them are suitable. Look at High Sierra for cheaper stuff or Osprey for something better quality (better for hiking as well)

  • Good for rucking?

wouldn't a light weight bag defeat the purpose a bit?
