Have You Been Perks-Blocked? (JB Hi-Fi)

Pretty much what title says. I'm not getting any monthly JB Hi-Fi Perks emails coming through any more. Have signed up with a new email address and got the initial welcome email, plus that month's perks code, but nothing since.

I signed up to Perks when it was first announced and used to receive monthly emails with my perks code. In the first couple of months I used to share my unwanted codes, but stopped when people reported that their accounts/perks were being removed, but I never received any of these warnings from JB myself. Reached out to the customer care and they couldn't see anything wrong with my account either.

Just wondering if there's any sort of "block-list" that might exist?

    My last $10 coupon was Jan 2023. None after. Still getting other perks.

    do in-store only transactions, never give your phone number at checkout, never share code. don't have a problem.

    Microsoft email seems to default senders to the spam/junk folder if you've deleted their emails enough times.

      Religiously. Not even a peep. I've even cleaned out my own block lists and added them to trusted sender, but no bueno.

    What about phone number? If you use an existing perks account phone number on a new perks account, then that old account is no longer eligible for perks (even if you add the phone number back in).

    • Yeh I used my old number. That's what I'm trying to figure out—is Perks block a real thing, or is it just something to do with my bad luck/email settings haha. I think I've been blocked :|

    Yep! Tried unsubscribing and resubscribing again, ticked all the boxes, and still nothing. I just gave up. Heck, even targeted Coolworths bonus points stopped showing up for me too. On the flip side, I don't do the many impulse purchases I used to make chasing "perks" & "bonus points" etc, so not receiving those targeted emails might be a blessing in disguise.

  • This has also happened to me. Unsubbed and Resubbed and still did not receive the last 2 10% off perks codes even though I received the email promoting the sale.
    I tried registering another account, that didn't help.
    I created a 3rd account with a other email and that account receieved the last code but the other 2 did not.
    I think there system is just broken.

    I ended up unsubbing from Perks, changing my account email address to my gmail, linking my google account, and then resubbing to perks - this worked for me.

    • How many times have you received the Perks offer since you did this? Or you've only recently made the email update and received just the latest offer? I ask that cus a few people mentioned updating/changing their emails and receiving the Perks just once before it stopped coming again.

        I re-subbed around the end of June, got the 40% off awesome audio, then the wicked weekend and then some wireless security competition. So 3 Perks emails so far (last one was Jul 8)
