Clicked through and realised I already have it. Lol

      Same here.Lol

      • +4

Same. Opened it up to confirm and it was a drawing of a dick someone did (totally not me) when the last deal came up and haven’t used it since.

    • Haha, same here :)

    I dont see free here

"Unlimited access to all premium features & daily content updates during the subscription period.

If you download the app, one of the first screens says “free lifetime access if you create an account” (I didn’t create an account though)

  • +1

Not free for me either now - paid yearly

    • Found it only if you new to the app

    • I just don’t have that screen. Maybe it’s because it’s now the 8th of July and it’s expired?

Tried on my iPhone and iPad. Only have the 7 day free trial.

  • +1

Once you enable it, how do you know they won't charge you next year?

    • +2

Because it's not an in app purchase - you don't have to subscribe to anything. Just create an account.

      • +2

I'd feel better if it were an IAP tbh that was lifetime.

  • Awesome thanks
Now I just need to learn how to sketch

It's actually really bad. My daughter spends all her time drawing with an apple pen so I gave her this app. It had massive lag and was unusable. It also lacked a lot of features that other free apps have.

    • What features are lacking?

      • +4

        usability

    • What other free apps do you recommend over this?

      • +1

I’ve had great success with the free version of Sketchbook.

I have used both of these apps free for 6 months now and also found Sketchpro’s pen response laggy as hell.

Eventually I decided to support Sketchbook since its premium is something like $3 for life - rather than this overpriced subscription laggy app.

To be fair though - Sketchpro has some pretty advanced crazy premium features (e.g. AI Colorization - you see a demo video upon download) so this deal is still worth it. Just that its got a steeper learning curve and hopefully they fix the lag if enough people complain.

  • Thank OP. Worked for me.

  • download it, but won't open, not working with macbook pro?

    • Same, just gets stuck on title screen, tried reinstall but still stuck on title screen.

      • Exactly I got, probably only for iPhone/tablet users

  • +1

    Any similar app for android?

  • If i already have procreate, its probably not worth right?

Ask ChatGPT. Apparently they are different.

      SketchPro
Audience: Professionals in graphic design, illustration, and UI/UX design.
Integration: Often integrates well with other professional design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Learning Curve: Steeper, due to the extensive features and options available.

      Procreate
Audience: Digital painters, illustrators, and hobbyists who prefer working on a tablet.
Integration: Works seamlessly with other iOS apps and services. It’s well-optimized for the Apple ecosystem.
Learning Curve: Relatively gentle, making it accessible for beginners as well as advanced

User Interface and Experience: SketchPro offers a more complex interface suitable for detailed design work, whereas Procreate focuses on a streamlined, intuitive experience optimized for touch and pen input.

      • ask chatgpt…?

        giggedy

  • You need to be a new user to get a free lifetime access. If not, you have to pay annually.

    • If you delete the download and then try again as a new user, does it work?

      • Nope. You need to delete your account that associate with your email, it might take 7 days to delete. The best way to get this is to use other email if you have one.

        • Use the Hide My Email feature if you’ve got it with iCloud.

      • Yes it does, delete app, redownload and signup with new email when free offer pops up, did the. same.

  • Its free lifetime when you select Personal use… tested

  • +1

    Thanks OP

Ima couple of months into ownership of my first apple product and this will be a great addition to get used to.

    1. DL
    2. Run, select personal use
    3. Select 'Make Account' free access for life
    4. I used an email acc. and verified with the SketchPro email sent.
      5 Profit
  • Macos app is laggy as hell cant even logout

  • Thanks OP👍

Excellent deal. I’ve been holding off getting premium on Sketchpro because its so damn exxy and too laggy in response to my Apple Pencil. It makes it hard to draw accurately.

I’ve been using a different app, Sketchbook, in the meantime which is much faster response and full featured on free tier (also, its premium is a once off price of a coffee. As opposed to this app’s eye watering subscription which feels greedy when the app is seemingly not yet optimized).

So thanks for this deal - I can now try the Sketchpro’s premium features which are admittedly pretty useful and unique.

  • Is this Vector based?

  • No App by the name "SketchPro" in App Store (macOS) only Sketchbook Pro which is $39.99.

  • Tbh I recall this posted twice and deleted it.

Going of my reaction to delete, and the seeing the negative comments, here and in the two previous posts, sorry, but this sounds dodgy af

  • I can’t get this to work. Must be expired. I’ve tried on iPhone and iPad. Don’t have the option to redeem free life time with a new account. Ive never had an account either. Shame as I’m looking for a decent free sketch app.

    • Sketchbook is a good free alternative. I’ve used both apps for the last 6 months
