Can't Get Half SBS 3D to Work?

Have a passive 3D TV. Have no issues watching SBS 3D files.

But got a HSBS 3D file and it doesn't work (3D effect is too far apart).

Using VLC on a laptop to play on the TV

Chosing to convert the HSBS image into 2D works fine, but there is too much gap between the 'layers' when in 3D mode.

Where am I going wrong?

Hi,Sorry cant answer your query, but can you help me… I can view sbs split screen using my phone on a VR Headset.I can show the split screen on my big tv, but how do you actually view it, have tried many glasses…… Thanks

  do you have a 3d tv

  3D tv normally picks it up automatically. If not, there is a 3D button.
  
  If you don't have a 3D tv, u can use the stereograph output in VLC, then will need red blue glasses
