I skipped 3 seasons, actually season 4 is a blast. Can’t wait for 5

I've been thinking about coming back. It all felt pretty grim and unfulfilling once the story ended, and didn't have the patience for the slow grind to a meaningful new level.
Based on that, worth dipping back in?
Not really familiar with the updates from the last 3 seasons, the best part is the QOL improvement. 😅😅, from stash to skills to paragon. And I like the Pit btw.

Not sure why you would buy the physical disc nowadays since you need Gamepass (online multiplayer) to even play the game and the game is on Gamepass?
Nah there is a tier of Xbox that doesn’t include this game right?
If you are an infrequent gamer and you can re-sell the disc once you're done with it.
Also, subscriptions are evil.
You only need at the very least Gamepass Core to play online multiplayer, and that tier doesn't include the game. If you want to play offline (single player or couch coop), then there very much is a point in buying the game. Can then sell it after if you don't want it.
this game had great cut scenes but outside of that was boring and incredibly repeatative

Went back to D2R recently.
It’s remarkable how much better it is.Still, D4’s worth $30 to finish the campaign. Though I’d say GP is probably the play. This disk will be trash tier if and when they release a proper expansion.

I bought this recently for season 4 and it was a ton of fun. Me and a friend played it for hours and did everything you could including uber Lilith.
Probably the best Diablo I've played or at least equal to 3 with all the patches. Usual caveat that if you love 2 you won't like 4 or any other game seemingly.
Really enjoying season 4. Campaign alone is worth the cost imo
