Telstra Mobile Prepaid what is New Customer?

Hi everybody.
I bought 2 x $15 Telstra prepaid SIMs (usually $35), and would like to use both.
It seems I can only use the second SIM as a new customer.
What is the simplest and cheapest way to do this?
Must I port out? And if so, for how long?
Appreciate your expertise.

Yes, you bought them through my post. These are starter packs for the 1st recharge. Port to Boost $35/45 or amaysim equivalent and back after 28 days.

    • Thanks!

    • Port to Boost $35/45

Boost is owned by Telstra and uses the same backend system as Telstra. Porting to Boost will not be easy or help.

You need to port to literally any other provider than Boost.

When was the last time you have done it? A couple of years ago they dropped the blank sim type port and contact CS requirement. Now you can go Boost to Telstra back to Boost with out any issues. I ported from Boost to Telstra in May I got new customer bonus data and was no different sign up then going anywhere else. :)

        • If your Surname is Smith, Jones or Singh else they nail you with a new number. Be prepared to go thru customer ID 30 times but hey perseverance may help.

      • Can confirm you can port from boost > telstra > boost without issue. Assume the same would be with telstra > boost > telstra

  • From "Hell" to the Colesworth near expiry Lebara that was originally $40 and now sells for $3
Every month same same keep flipping….
