what the difference
Mainly about thickness. Those storage or sandwich bags are very thin and leak almost every time. The ziplock freezer bags are very thick and durable. I have even seen people using it for Sous vide…
@NoBargainNoLife: Nope, Hercules brand is superior to ziploc, I stopped buying ziploc due to poor film and lock durability years ago once I found the Hercules brand
@Gusper: I thought it was just me noticing this too.
Bought a box to store 3D printer filament since the Hercules could be easily punctured or just leak quicker being a bit thinner. But most of the ziploc's all lost their vacuum even quicker!

EDIT: Actually I think it mostly is, it's just not marked as such. Loaded up with $42 (S&S) worth of various sizes, thanks again! Should last me years haha.
