It looks like you've already had a membership. Unfortunately, you're not eligible for this Uber One offer.

Stopped using Uber Eats when they introduced the bullshit service fee.

Which food delivery platform doesnt charge service fees? Everyone does. At least UberEats has great discounts, BOGO food and you can load up on ocassional 10% off gift cards which all essentially nullifies the service fee.

        which platform doesn't charge

Uber Eats never used to, that's the point. The service fee doesn't add value, nor does the busy area fee or any of the other fake charges they've introduced. You're just trying to convince yourself paying more for the same thing is a good deal. It's not.

        great discounts

On price jacked items, so a zero sum game. It's cheaper and usually quicker to go and pick it up yourself, and you know it'll arrive hot and fresh and not 5th in line while the rider delivers other orders via other platforms.

I’d say it’s still worth hanging around on an Uber one account if it’s free. I’ve had three lots of $20 off $40 grocery this month and the prices at Woolies metro on some things are the same as in store, $3 service fee and it’s still way cheaper than in store and delivered at time of choosing. Don’t get me wrong, I’d never pay full price, but won’t turn down reasonable deals when they are available.

      • 100% if you are getting benefits for free that ordinarily cost money, if Uber wants to use a baited lure to convert trial customers into paid ones, they can try but it won't work on me or you.
