    Weight: 52kg

That is a very heavy box to get into your vehicle and unload at home. Think I'll just wait for esatto or solt to go on sale again with delivery included

    • +1

Its a heat pump dryer, not sure what you'd expect.

  • +1

Ah Esatto was same price at appliances online last week, so will come down, again to 599 delivered

  • Anyone got experience with this model or essatto?

How long does it take to dry a full load?

    • +3

I have the esatto dryer and the Aldi one looks identical including specs, I wonder if they just white labelled the same product

      • Same the only difference is my aldi one has a light inside the dryer

        • +2

No difference, my esatto has the light too

I have these Aldi ones from the last sale.

I run the dryer on Cotton Standard most times and it’s a 2:40hr run.
If it’s super full then the Cotton Extra (3:10hr) cycle is enough.

      • I have the Aldi dryer from last year as well. I use the Cotton Extra as my default (3 hr 10). The only other thing I'll add to unco is we have a room in our home on Airbnb - so we run this dryer all the time and never have any issues with it and have not even noticed any meaningful change on our power bill. If you're contemplating buying I say go for it!

    • Cotton cycle is around 2 hrs, synthetic is 1hr 10 mins.

never used any other dryer before. but this fulfils my needs very well. usually run on a the 3hours preset on colder weather. but warmer weather you can get away with the 2hour preset

    • I have the Essato and got it from Appliances Online.
Mine takes 3~4 hours for a full load to be dry. Sometimes it needs a bit more than that.

does it have reverse drum action

We had the dryer. Worked great. But the belt snapped and it must have been too expensive for them to send someone out to fix it, so they offered a replacement or refund. Would have taken the replacement, but the warranty on the replacement was going to expire based on when we made the original purchase.

    • Same but I went with the replacement and got an esatto then it's belt also broke so I just bought a new belt on eBay and works, just have to pull it almost completely apart to install the new one

      • +6

Sounds like the plan is to take the refund, then buy the belt and replace it yourself.

    • Really? My belt snapped too on the dryer but the warranty supplied repairman fixed it in under 30 minutes.

    • I am currently talking with support and they are offering me a replacement unit but no new warranty, It is the second time the belt has broken on me. Did you have to push for a refund?

Any feedback on these washing machines?

    • +3

Had a seal replaced under warranty and repairman laughed at how badly made it was, ie screws not galvanised etc.. Machine is 3 years old, maybe they are better now? Bought as cheap and machine just broke, wouldn't but aldi washer again.

  • How is the review on washing machine? Thinking of getting one.

  • So, these washing machines no good?

Ive never seen one on the roadside rubbish collection lol

Surely there are some Ozbargainers that have one that haven't had issues!

  • +1

I have the washing machine from two years ago, still going strong!

  • Who would pick up and install at reasonable price tho for those who can't. Appliances online seem to have that bracket market?!

  • +1

If you are in SA, the dryer also qualifies for rebate under the REPS scheme meaning you get in the region of $150 back.

The two places authorised to give the rebates are YESS and MAC

Not attached to the scheme or any of the comapnies.

  • Anyone who purchased both. What stacking get did you get?
I got the dark silver and not sure which brand will fit
