Looking for recommendations for a plug-in rechargeable light that turns on when power goes out. I'm looking for something small like a torch or nightlight, not the large emergency lights with spotlights.
I'm planning on placing it on a wall plug in the hallway so something small is ideal.
These ones have a dusk to dawn feature which cannot be turned off so it's always on when it is dark.

I have this and it is great, it has an IEC in for using on mains and then you can use 18V batteries as well. Perfect if you are already in the Ozito Echo System.
I've used them many time in blackouts.

Just grab a torch ffs and keep it in an accessible place. Surely you know the general layout of your place in the dark or your phone has a torch on it to be able to get to it.
You're after an "emergency light". Something like this which has a function that will turn on when it detects no power.
